Ching-In Chen and Leah Lakshmi Piepzna-Samarasinha made a quick stop in Vancouver yesterday as part of their tour promoting their inspiring new book The Revolution Starts at Home.

The recording above is of the talk and readings they shared with the crowd at Rhizome Café. Local poet Cynthia Oka also gave a reading of her poem Amulet, and following the book launch there was a question and answer period that really brought the subject of community care into relief. Neither of these two parts of the evening are included in the recording above.
