hey DJ Shadow fans and pseudo-admirers,

the turntablist is planning to play tel aviv in the second week of july.

in times like these, i have slightly more pronounced inclinations to join the world of facebook.

but, alas, we know it is an impossibility. if you can, though, I urge you to spread the word (if this isn't already circulating in that forum) and let's make sure that DJ Shadow cancels his tour, as part of the global boycott of Israel... joining the ranks of other artists including, most recently, Gil Scott Heron, the Pixies and Gorillaz -- all of which canceled their dates there because of increased public pressure!

here's hoping that his music joins the soundtrack to the movement that helps bring apartheid to its knees.
