Our great leader addressed parliament in B.C. before the games. What hypocrisy! The national parliament is practically boarded up like a condemned tenement block, and he has the gumption to go address a provincial legislature instead of showing himself in the House of Commons. This is a display of utter disdain for the national legislature, which he was elected to serve in and respect. Boy this gets better all the time. Now “el Jefe Maximo” is in Haiti to show his compassion for the victims of the earthquake. Like an imperial viceroy, reichskommisar or a colonial overlord, he struts over his new dominion. The glorious troops are hailed for their heroism, while a top commander stands charged back home, of dismembering some of his fellow lady servicewomen. How heroic and patriotic is such a macabre murder and crime?

The Northern nation's economy meanwhile continues to dive. It’s in a bottomless tailspin. Homelessness plagues the country. People line up at food banks (the only banks not making profits) and our great leader is off in the Caribbean on a “humanitarian mission”. Why is “El Jefe” not here at home addressing the dire economic situation of the country? Why hasn’t re-opened parliament? Is he afraid to face a possible vote of non-confidence or perhaps be charged with contempt of the House? Why is he running away from the duties and obligations therein, of serving the country in crisis and its citizenry? What kind of a great leader is he then? Only a craven quisling acts in such a dishonourable and contemptible manner. The great leader is hallowed by his party faithful but is an embarrassment to those who value democracy and political pluralism. The Canadian hockey team ( mens or womens, it's all the same to me..) had better win the gold (with a little help from the I.O.C maybe?) at the games or the glorious party's poll numbers will move into negative territory soon.
And the great leader may have to exile himself to a corrupt and tyrannical , militerized , petro-state in central Asia and run affairs over there to the locals' delight or displeasure .
