The "American Dream" has turned into a nightmare: forty years of stagnant wages, mass unemployment, millions of foreclosed homes, and no health service. American politics seems to be dominated by the insanity of the Tea Party. Obama has not delivered the changes he promised. On the other hand, the Occupy movement has recently emerged to challenge corporate greed. Is class struggle back on the agenda?

Join Left/Socialist Alternative on MONDAY, APRIL 2 for a talk by Ramy Khalil, Associate Editor for Justice newspaper and Occupy Wall Street organizer for Seattle and Bellingham, on the implications of neo-liberalism in the United States, the current political situation, and the possible future for American politics. The talk will be followed by a discussion.
