This week Bradley Manning, the accused Wikileaks whistleblower, is once again in court in front of a US military judge. In pre-trial hearings that run from June 6th-8th the court will determine what evidence is going to be allowed once his full trial begins on September 21st.

But Bradley Manning is not alone in court. Alongside supporters attending the hearings, Bradley also has the support and solidarity of peace-loving people all over the world demonstrating for his immediate freedom. In actions from Wales to Kansas and Vancouver to Brisbane, people will be using their voices, signs and banners to make sure that the US government knows that Bradley Manning is a hero for exposing US and colonial war crimes in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Actions are even more important at this time as May 26th marked the second year that Bradley Manning has been held in prison. After spending over 10 months in solitary confinement in conditions illegal even under US law, Bradley is now being forced to remain behind bars through the pre-trial process with little access to the evidence that the US government is claiming to have against him. He is currently facing up to life in prison.

In Vancouver we are asking supporters to join the picket line to demand freedom for Bradley Manning!
