The Mining Justice Alliance invites Vancouverites concerned about the impact of our city’s Mining Corporations to participate in the Continental Day of Action Against Canadian Canadian Mega Resource Extraction, August 1 at 4:30 PM outside GOLDCORP’s corporate headquarters at 666 Burrard St.
Vancouver is a haven to half the world’s mining transnationals with close to 1000 locating their headquarters in the city. On August 1, outside one of the city’s most notorious corporations, the Mining Justice Alliance will establish a memorial to courageous opponents of Vancouver-owned mines who have been executed in the past few years.
