Every Sunday! Get the latest news about our allies and our enemies.

Be a part of Anti Racist Action Victoria for community solidarity against hate. We've come together to respond to sexist, racist wingnuts making threats, stalking people, and broadcasting hate speech, especially targeting women and people of colour. WE'VE HAD ENOUGH.

Where? The QV diner at Government and Fisgard next to Chinatown, because that's where the jerks had their meetings, and we are TAKING IT BACK.

Why? White supremacist misogynists are trying to organize and recruit in our community, and we are TAKING IT BACK.

Who? We're here to oppose "We Are Change Victoria," the group that invited neo-Nazi defender Doug Christie to speak at rallies in Victoria in 2011 and 2012. WAC started harassing activists at the People's Assembly of Victoria over a year ago and we have had enough. The 6 or 7 members of WAC were meeting at QV on Sundays until they got TURFED OUT.

Wait, who are these people?
"We Are Change" has branches in the US and Canada. They are connected to hate groups like the Minutemen and the Tea Party, but the racism is more subtle. Mostly they deal in conspiracies, including climate change denial, Holocaust denial, and "men's rights." In Victoria, they also use the label "Occupy Victoria B.C" on Facebook. They split from the People's Assembly because they don't agree with racial equality and decolonization. Now they've exposed themselves, and we're taking action to alert our friends and neighbours to this potential threat.

When? 6:30 pm every Sunday. Kids are welcome. It's FREE. RSVP on Facebook.
