Wednesday February 13 2013

Venue: Wise Hall
Address: 1882 Adanac St

» More information
Join Tanker Free BC, ForestEthics Advocacy and the Wilderness Committee as we continue our series of tanker town hall meetings to raise awareness about Kinder Morgan's plans to build their own tar sands pipeline to the Lower Mainland.

If this new pipeline is built, it will mean over 400 crude oil tankers a year sail in out of Vancouver Metro through the Burrard Inlet!

Speakers include:
Ben West - ForestEthics Advocacy
Sven Biggs - Tanker Free BC
Joe Foy - The Wilderness Committee
Rueben George - The Tsleil-Waututh Nation
Niki Sharma - Vancouver City Parks Board

There will be a question and answer period following the speakers during which members of the community will be encouraged to ask any questions they have about these pressing issues.
