TURNING UP THE VOLUME ON ENBRIDGE AND KINDER MORGAN
We are a small group of thoughtful committed friends, many of us, veterans of the first fight to keep tankers out of Kitimat in 1979 - a battle we won.
Inspired by this and the student protest "casseroles" in Quebec we have committed to taking to the streets and making our voices heard until this issue is put to rest once and for all. So ...
Bring a pot,
and a wooden spoon
and be prepared to make some noise
These events are loud, but peaceful, respectful and family-friendly.
THIS ONE'S FOR KINDER MORGAN!
We'll meet at Kensington Park at the corner of Hastings and Kensington in Burnaby at 1pm and make our way peacefully and noisily down Hastings past the site of their 2007 spill that sent 1500 barrels of oil down Inlet Drive and into Burrard Inlet. We'll be ending at the gates of the Kinder Morgan Westridge MarineTerminal. We need lots of warm bodies and pots and spoons and whistles to serve notice to Kinder Morgan - No Pipelines, No Tankers, No Problem!

I think its important to not
I think its important to not forget about the Pacific Trail Pipeline. It is already approved and is located in the right of way of the Embridge pipeline. All this attention on the Embridge pipeline is creating a smoke screen for the construction of the PTP. If they cant build the PTP, EMBRIDGE CANNOT BE BUILT. The Unistoten Clan have built a blockade in the path of the PTP and have vowed to stop the pipeline by any means necessary.
