Join Windermere High School’s Youth for Climate Justice Now, as we carry on the tradition of celebrating Earth Day on Commercial Drive!
Like years past, we’d like to invite you to march in our annual Earth Day parade from Commercial and Broadway to Grandview Park, where we will be greeted by a celebration complete with speakers, musicians, possibly some juggling by a local leader or two, and all the good things that come with gathering together as a community to address the things that matter most today.
At this stage, we’d like to ask you to save the date. We’ll be adding details about speakers and performers in days to come. So for now, start figuring out your costume for the parade, and mark Saturday April 20th from 11 – 3 as four hours for the Earth on Commercial Drive! (You're welcome to stay as little or as long as you like.)
This event is family friendly, and youth from the across the lower mainland are welcome and encouraged to come.
