Meow!

Ever wanted to send something to a prisoner but didn't know what to send? Send them a kitten! Most earth and animal prisoner love cats, bats, raccoons, dogs, and just about any other animal except humans... Some of them even like humans too!

Since they are going to be in their cage for a while, we thought they might like some company. So we are gonna send them a furry friend to help them get through their captivity. Now of course we don't mean living breathing purring kittens, that would be cruel to the kitties. And many of these prisoners are in for trying to open those cages and let cats or other animals out! Cats don't belong in cages any more that humans; so if we can't get these folks out then the least we can do is make them smile and brighten up their day with a kitty.

Here's what we want you to do. Take a picture of your cat doing something cute, or a dog, or rat, or that raccoon that raids your compost heap, or draw one, paint one, cut a picture out of a magazine, whatever you want. Bring it to Spartacus and we will mail cats (or whatever animals you bring) to prisoners who are jailed for their dedication to this movement. No experience necessary.

We will provide the envelopes and addresses, paper, and other supplies. You bring the cats! We will also be able to answer any questions you may have about writing to prisoners and help you get started. Whether you want to send poems, pictures, or correspond by letter all of it will help make the prisoners time a little easier.

See you cats there!

Meow!!!
