Rising Tide - Vancouver , Coast Salish Territories and Streams of Justice will be hosting a fundraiser for the Unist'ot'en Action Camp, July 10-14 2013,
in its growing resistance to pipelines through unceded Wet'suwet'en territory.
The funds will go towards enabling the participation of Indigenous youth at this year's Action Camp.

This is your chance to come out and show your support for the Unist'ot'en determination to stop the pipeline corridor through their territory, and the important role of the annual Action Camp in extending Indigenous (and non-indigenous) understanding and resistance.
Indigenous youth energized the Idle No More movement and their presence is crucial in the ongoing fight against colonial domination and control of land and resources.

The evening will feature music, poetry, spoken-word, a short film on the Action Camp and a phone update with Unist'ot'en leaders direct from the camp/blockade-prepare to be inspired by their vision and courage!

There will be a raffle with great prizes.
Also a "Skills & Talent Silent Auction" where you get to bid on special one time only offers from Rising Tide collective members and supporters, for example- a kayak trip/lesson and a lot more.
We need your support! Hope to see you on June 21!!
