5pm – 8pm
Vancouver Art Gallery
Robson & Howe St.
Downtown Vancouver, Canada
In the morning of Wednesday, August 21, 2013, U.S. military judge
Colonel Denise Lind will be sentencing Bradley Manning. He faces
up to 90 years in prison for standing up for humanity by exposing
U.S. atrocities and war crimes in Iraq, Afghanistan and around the
world, through the release of over 260,000 classified U.S.
diplomatic cables, videos and documents.
In the final days of his trial, which ended on August 19, the U.S.
government prosecutors asked the judge to sentence Bradley
Manning to 60 years in prison and a $100,000 fine. Bradley
Manning is a hero and a Soldier for Humanity, even one more
minute behind prison bars is a minute too many!
In response to the sentencing, people all over the world will be
coming out onto the streets to demand the U.S. government
immediately free Bradley Manning. We invite you to join with
MAWO on the streets of Vancouver in the world-wide call to
FREE BRADLEY MANNING!
BECAUSE EXPOSING WAR-CRIMES IS NOT A CRIME!
