The Supreme Court of Canada will release its historic decision on the Bedford case on December 20th. The Court will decide whether the Criminal Code’s Bawdy House (Section 210), living off the avails (Section 212) and communicating (Section 213) provisions violate the constitutional rights of sex workers.  Vancouver sex workers and their supporters will rally in a public demonstration for sex worker rights at 312 Main Street at Noon, December 20th. A positive decision for sex workers will help them in their ongoing fight for safer working conditions  and help put an end to the stigma  and marginalization they face.
