This discussion is meant to give a anarchist perspective of the anti- pipeline battle though alternative ways of organizing. We will talk about different methods currently being used to slow or stop the pipelines along with their effectiveness and an anarchist critique of those tactics. This discussion will also hope to promote decisive action to stop the pipelines, share ideas around solidarity, make connections and move away from the ENGOs (environmental non- government organization) dominated movement and toward decentralized and autonomous resistance.

Accessibility Info: The venue is situated on the south side of Blood Alley Square. There are several cobblestones, but there is ramp access and it’s an open space once inside. There are fewer cobblestones to navigate coming from Abbott vs Carrall. The washroom is not fully WC accessible, the doorway is about 27 inches wide.
