On January 5, 2015 a newly elected National Assembly will take their seats in Venezuela. The U.S.-backed right-wing counter-revolutionary opposition will have a majority in this parliament for the first time since the election of the late Comandante Hugo Chavez in 1998. Since the December 6 election of this National Assembly, supporters of the Bolivarian Revolution led by President Nicolas Maduro and the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) have been in a constant state of mobilization and reflection. They are working to unite and strengthen forces in Venezuela to defend Bolivarian Revolution.

As the majority right-wing National Assembly takes office, their backers in imperialist countries, especially the United States, are increasing their meddling and intervention. They will continue their attacks in an attempt to destabilize Venezuela and reverse the tremendous gains made for poor, working and oppressed people by the Bolivarian Revolution.

In Vancouver peace-loving people will answer the call of President Maduro for unity, mobilization and reflection. There are actions around the world in solidarity with the Venezuelan Bolivarian Revolution, including in New York City by the Alberto Lovera Bolivarian Circle which is organizing a rally in front of the Venezuelan Embassy. We must continue to work together to build a broad movement in solidarity with the Bolivarian Revolution and mobilize on the streets to demand an end to foreign imperialist intervention in Venezuela!

Join the Fire This Time Venezuela solidarity campaign to defend the Bolivarian Revolution and its gigantic social, economical and political gains and demand:
U.S. HANDS OFF VENEZUELA!
U.S. RESPECT THE SOVEREIGNTY AND SELF-DETERMINATION OF THE VENEZUELAN PEOPLE!
LONG LIVE THE VENEZUELAN BOLIVARIAN REVOLUTION!
