/CAPTURE/RUPTURE/
Sketching the Biopolitical tissue of Empire using a transmedia presentation
(a continuation of the insurgent 30's presentation)
Join us in articulating the history of internment in BC and outlining its cartography of capture while tracing the revolutionary lines of flight that illuminate social ruptures.
We will examine the on-going State of Exception with various documentations from the interments of Indigenous peoples, Unemployed, Enemy Aliens, ‘Illegal immigrants’, ect; as well, recon the institutions that network power through Prisons, Asylums and the Hotel-social housing of the DTES.
‘It must be remembered that the apparatuses of capture are constantly redeveloped as a result of escape. As partisan war-machines we must both lay siege to Empire as well as defend the Exodus.’
Afterparty for the most recent publications from Moment of Insurrection Press.
