A vigil commemorating the International Human Rights Day and celebrating the Nobel Peace Prize, highlighting three current and past Nobel Peace prize recipients - Liu Xiaobo, His Holiness the Dalai Lama and Aung Sang Suu Kyi. We hope to be joined by pro-Democracy groups who support democratic movement in China and Burma, as well as members of the East Turkestan and Vietnamese communities. His Holiness the Dalai Lama and has been very open about his support for Aung Sang Suu Kyi and Liu Xiaobo and their causes to bring more freedoms for their people, and greater accountability by their repressive leaders. Each has been honoured by the Nobel Committee and globally, but are shunned by the governments in Burma and China.
