HIGHER BUILDINGS DOWNTOWN & THE HISTORIC AREA HEIGHT REVIEW
PUBLIC INFORMATION MEETING:
Monday, January 17, 2011. 7:00-8:30 pm at the Empire Landmark Hotel (1400 Robson Street) in the Crystal Ballroom (lobby level)
Hello everyone. Prior to the upcoming Council meeting (which is next Thursday, January 20, 2011 at 2:00pm), the City of Vancouver will be hosting a public information session on potential higher buildings downtown. The purpose of this meeting is to ensure you have complete and accurate information about the implementation recommendations in the following two reports being considered on the 20th: Historic Area Height Review: Policy Implementation and Implementation of "Vancouver Views" and Opportunities for Higher Buildings in the Downtown (supplemental memo, and previous staff presentation on December 16, 2011). Please join us for staff presentations with an opportunity to ask staff questions to clarify details in the reports prior to the Council Meeting. Council will then be hearing your comments and concerns directly on the 20th.
Should you wish to speak to Council on these reports at the January 20, 2011 meeting, please contact Tina Hildebrandt in the City Clerk's office at tel: 604.873.7268 or by email at tina.hildebrandt@vancouver.ca.

I will be there & you should too!
Setting my calendar!
So important to what's left of our beautiful downtown eastside of Vancouver.
Cutting through the misinformation and rhetoric, go look at:

We shall retain the fantastic, inclusive and non oppressive areas of our beloved downtown eastside!
City Hall is doing more of the same. CLASS WAR!
