Since early May 2011, the Dene Suline from Cold Lake, AB, have held a Peace Camp at Berry Point, English Bay to protect their traditional lands from being turned into an RV park. Despite being threatened with an injunction, they have steadfastly asserted the importance of the land where they hold significant ceremonies, sacred burials, smoke fish and gather medicinal plants.

Silent auction, songs, stories.

With Cease Wyss, Kalilah Desjarlais, Ta'Kaiya Blaney, Mayan Elders, Gunargie O'Sullivan, Russell Wallace, Joanne Arnott and a speaker from the Peace Camp itself.
