In Vancouver, please come to the Candle-light Vigil on November 2

At the Consulate of the People's Republic of China, 3380 Granville Street, Vancouver (at 16th)

On Nov 2, please join the Global Day of Action to draw attention to the desperate plight of the people of Tibet, and particularly in Ngaba. Thousands of people worldwide will join in solidarity appealing to world leaders to take action. The Global Day of Action is taking place on the day before the G20 Summit will begin in France.

"We demand a coordinated international response by world leaders to condemn China’s repressive measures in Ngaba and across Tibet, and to institute multi-lateral mechanisms to advocate for the Tibetan people. Most immediately, we call on China to withdraw its security forces from Ngaba and across Tibet now, and stop the ongoing harassment and torture of monks."

Protests and Vigils taking place around the world are listed here: http://standupfortibet.org/global-protests/
