Candlelight Vigil & Procession in Solidarity with Mexico

Day of the dead at Occupy Vancouver

Dear friends of Canada, Guatemala, Honduras, Brazil, Peru, Colombia and El Salvador.
You are invited to participate and work together, doing an "ofrenda" or offering to honour our dead.
What to bring: We invite you to bring skull masks or make up, wear black or skeleton suit to walk in a procession. Bring poems, write the name of your dead in a half page letter; candles or lighters.

We are praying for the souls of the more than 50,000 victims of the civil war, drug war violence and against the corruption and impunity of the Mexican government and the governments of other Latin American countries.
