Rally for Locked Out Rocky Mountaineer Workers

Company still hiring scabs after more than 8 months

3:30pm
- 5:30pm
Monday March 5 2012

Venue: Rocky Mountaineer Station
Address: 1755 Cottrell Street (behind the Home Depot off Terminal)
  • Rocky Mountaineer has not come to the bargaining table since July 8, 2011.
Now they are re-hiring scabs from last season and advertising to hire more.

Rocky Mountaineer has filed and won many court injunctions. Security is constantly filming and using video evidence to try to limit picket activities. We thank you in advance for helping us to ensure a peaceful rally which secures the right to maintain our picket line.

CONTACT rblackburn@teamsters31.ca or call Rod at 604 540 6009 for more information

    PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD

ALSO... We will update about the progress of a general SCAB AWARENESS CAMPAIGN to publicize the negative consequences of using scab labour. www.scabawareness.com

Locked out Rocky Mountaineer employees will be leafleting and talking with students at colleges and university campuses, helping to raise awareness of labour issues. Rocky Mountaineer is hiring another round of scabs for this upcoming season.
