First Nations united against tar sands oil and pipelines

''At the beginning of December 2010, 61 First Nations signed the Save the Fraser Declaration. The declaration states that the Nations of the Fraser River Watershed in BC will not allow the pipelines or similar tar sands projects to cross their lands. One year later, the signatories to the declaration number more than 130. Jackie Thomas of the Saik’uz First Nation was one of the chiefs involved in drafting the Save the Fraser declaration. She was present at a signing ceremony in Vancouver December 1st, 2011 and she spoke later that day at a public forum organized in part by the Wilderness Committee.''

With some technical problems, but that's so great !
