This is a fundraiser for  the Denesuline Nation. Our territory is 1.25 million sq. km and 80% of the tarsands are on our territory.

Our people have been gathering since 1996-2007, the mayors and chiefs within our territory were given a mandate to follow and organize another gathering, which they did not follow through with...

So we the people have decided to organize ourselves with help from supporters for the people.

We will be gathering again,  May 21-25,2012 in La Loche, SK, to dicuss our many issues including Tar sands, Sovereignty, Unity and restoring our traditional assembly and vast homeland and eliminating any foreign political, religion, educational institution and corporations within Denesuline Nene, using our traditional assembly that has governed our people since time immemorial.

We have 35 communities, 35,000 Denesuline and six dialects within our territory,

This event is taking place on unceded Indigenous territories which we acknowledge and thank the Coast Salish Peoples.
