Fundraising event for the Lil"wat Liberation Movement. The Lil'wat elders do incredible work on indigenous self-determination; they do not accept government funding and grow their own food and live in many ways as did their ancestors. They are reaching out to non-Native people to dialog as part of this fundraising effort.

The "Gathering of the Clans l" took place May14th and 15th ,2009. It was a great success and we received several requests to host another. These gatherings provide information many of our people do not receive on important issues affecting their rights and lives. Our people are expected to make decisions without truly discussing these issues. Some of us feel we need to take back control of our lives, make our own decisions, self determine, take back our homeland and use our resources to benefit ourselves, live free and discontinue our enslavement by a system pretending to look after and protect our rights while relocating us and using up our resources for their own purposes. There is a great need to give information to people who wish to self determine their lives.
If anyone would like to sponsor others with a ticket(s) , we will be grateful for the support.
