With undergraduate and graduate student referenda on the U-Pass program happening it’s a perfect for students to talk about public transit funding and the provincial election.
Come out to the Get OnBoard event Thursday, March 14th 4:30-6:30PM at SFU Surrey’s Mezzanine to learn about how the next provincial election will affect public transit issues. You’ll hear from our knowledgeable guest speaker Gordon Price, Director of the City Program at SFU and former Board Member of Metro Vancouver & Translink. And you’ll learn about public funding issues and how they can contribute to the campaign to preserve the U-Pass program at the GSS and SFSS. Network with other students who are passionate about sustainability issues and transportation and help solve the regions’s transportation funding crisis. Light refreshments will be offered.
