Global day of Spanish protest organized by the Youth Without Future collective

On April 7th, we will be joining the many spanish voices who had to leave Spain in order to look for a brighter future. We denounce and criticize the radical change in the Spanish strategy of economic policy and their priorities. This protest will be carried out by a young group who have been forced to emigrate to Vancouver. If this is also your case, join us and make your voice heard!
Also, our action will take place in different cities around the world: Amsterdam, Berlin, Copenhague, Buenos Aires, Munich, Paris, Rome, London, Dublin, Madrid, Montreal...

This action is endorsed by the Youth Without Future collective (Juventud Sin Futuro) to work in this direction by making channels of communication among young people who have been forced to emigrate and those who suffer insecurity in our country. The collective establishes a long-term coordination that enables us to develop solutions to the current situation.
Why?
- Unemployment in Spain has reached over the 5 million mark for the first time since records began
- 91% of the jobs destroyed in the past four years affects people under 35 years old
- New labour laws bet on the role of temporary contracts as a tool against youth unemployment. The precariousness does not solve the problem, it just worsens eventually.
