Organized and taking place on occupied and unceded Coast Salish territory = Tsleil-Waututh, Musqueum, and Sḵwxwú7mesh(Squamish) nations respectively.

A fundraising kickoff for the decolonization and anti oppression tour. (April 26 till June 26 - 2013 Gregorian calendar)

We - Vanessa and myself are traveling from Vancouver to Halifax and back. Through tons of unceded and occupied territories, facilitating workshops and film discussions. Decolonization and Anti Oppression (intersectionality) work.

Location: 1803 - 1st Ave, Vancouver (grandview calvary baptist church - corner of 1st & Salsbury Dr.)
Date: Monday, April 15, 2013
Time: 6:00pm to 9:00pm

Food at 6pm sharp. (vegetarian & vegan options available)
Workshop starts at 7pm.
Finishing approximately 8:30 - clean up and mingle for 30 mins.

There will be an anti oppression workshop with some decolonization discussion - along with some grassroots community organizing 101 <--- as related to anti oppression/decolonization/horizontal ideology.

*accessibility info: wheelchair accessible - ramp on east 1st side of church - bathroom has a large stall with bars. Please leave your heavy perfumes at home. This is a safer space (LGBT2IQ & other marginalized people very welcomed) (No ASL or interpretation)
