Serious Cash for Cycling
Simon Fraser University, Harbour Centre
May 2nd from 12:30 to 2:00pm.
Cycling organizations are proposing that the province invest $75 million a year to implement a Provincial Cycling Strategy, including improved cycling facilities and education for people of all ages and abilities. Is it time to make this kind of serious investment in cycling? Join us for a panel discussion of the case for Serious Cash for Cycling.
The 3 panelists will be:
Richard Campbell, President of BCCC
Erin O'Melinn,Executive Director of HUB:Your Cycling Connection (previously known as the Vancouver Area Cycling Coalition)
John Richards, School of Public Policy, SFU, Harbour Centre
We would like to webcast this panel discussion, in order to bring the issue to the attention of provincial and local decision-makers and to enable cyclists all over the province to watch it, and understand and promote the issue of funding for cycling.
