Liquefied Fracked Gas
Tuesday, March 4, 2014 7:00pm
Royal Canadian Legion, 2205 Commercial Drive, East Vancouver – 3 blocks N of Commercial-Broadway SkyTrain station.
The provincial government says exporting Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) is a great idea, but the conventional ‘natural’ gas is mostly gone. Instead, the controversial method of extracting gas known as hydraulic fracturing or ‘fracking’ would be used.
Learn how extracting and exporting Liquefied Fracked Gas (LFG) threatens BC’s fresh and ocean water, wilderness areas and the stability of our global climate.
This is a community conversation on whether or not BC's planned rush to Liquefy Fracked Gas is in our best interests. A Townhall format, all views are welcome!
