Join us on the last day of the “International LNG in BC Conference” to tell Christy Clark, Rich Coleman, Minister of Fracked Gas (and Housing), industry representatives and investors to frack off.

LNG (liquid "natural" gas) is supposed to be a "transition" gas and is touted as a safe natural alternative but in reality it is deadly. Fracked gas extraction uses millions of gallons of fresh water and mixes in chemicals that are toxic. This whole process uses enormous amounts of energy and leads to the justification of a gigantic new dam (Site C on the Peace River). The areas cleared for fracked gas pipelines are then ready to be used for bitumen pipelines. These projects are all interconnected..

We need to let investors know that there is resistance and stand in solidarity with frontline Indigenous communities, like the Unist'ot'en of the Wet'su'wet'en Nation who are facing the threat of fracked gas Pacific Trail Pipeline being built through their territories this June.
