Why EcoDensity™ Is Not Good for the Environment

A Fish Bowl Discussion

8:00pm
Mercredi Janvier 19 2011

Venue: Britannia Centre
Address: 1661 Napier Street
Cost: No Cost

Work Less Party Announcement:

The city of Vancouver is preparing to allow a massive construction transformation of Vancouver. More unaffordable condos. This is being done under the pretext of being green even though nowhere in the world has city growth ever resulted in shrinking our ecogical footprint.

Join us for a fish bowl discussion on why ecodensity is not green despite Concord Pacific \ Bob Rennie and City of Vancouver economists telling us that it is good for the planet. What these growth economists leave out in their calculations is the Jevon's paradox or rebound effect.

Join us for a discussion on what the city of Vancouver is leaving out in their information.
