URGENT CALLOUT:
Protesters and residents have occupied the Fraser Street Shelter in a bid to keep the shelter open. This shelter is among many that are scheduled to be shut down while homelessness rises in this city and fewer places are left to go to. They are refusing to leave and urgently need your support. So far the police are not moving in and it looks like they may turn the electricity off in the building tonight which is why supplies are needed.
If you can spare the following it will be massively appreciated:
-sleeping bags
-small tents
-camping materials
-H2O
-Food
-More People
WHERE: Fraser Street Shelter, 677 E Broadway in the parking lot behind the shelter.
In Solidarity.
