Citizens group "BROKE" member E. Gibson; tells the story of a Burnaby BC resident who lived through an oil spill where approximately 250,000 liters of oil leaked into her community surroundings after a road crew excavator hit an existing Kinder Morgan pipeline.

   70,000 liters flowed into Burrard Inlet & the cleanup costs were reported to be in the area of 15 Million, 250 local residents were evacuated from their homes and had their lives disrupted.
