Delta - In the early hours of the morning, 46 Palestine solidarity activists allied with the Boycott Israeli Apartheid Committee (BIAC) set up an informational picket against the unloading of the flagship cargo carrier of the Israeli Zim shipping line.

The protesters found at 6am that Delta police and RCMP had set up a checkpoint that was turning back traffic that did not have a pass to the port, even if said traffic was not going to the port itself.

BIAC and its allies instead formed an impromptu picket ahead of the police checkpoint, telling dockworkers and truck drivers about Zim's links to the apartheid regime in Israel.
