On July 2 an emergency demo was called in front of CBC headquarters in Vancouver, Unceded Coast Salish Territories, in support of the Canadian boat to Gaza as well as the American one that is not being allowed to leave harbour in Greece.

Speakers talked about the importance of getting aid to Gaza, and breaking through Israel's iron grip on Gaza's port.

Three Vancouver activists, as well as Victoria's Kevin Neish, are on the Canadian boat.

Organizers promised to take demos right to the Greek embassy if the boats were not allowed to leave for Gaza, calling out both the Greek and Canadian governments for bending to Israeli pressure.
