14+ hours after kick-off
the 24-hour soccer game continues
in a few spots the ball actually floats (literally)
music, chili, and fun keep spirits high
cleats 'n' gumboots
gooooooooo... ball onto Howe street again! :)

Over 14 hours after kick-off this morning, the 24-hour soccer marathon campaign for the New Fountain Shelter was still going strong in front of the Vancouver Art Gallery, at the corner of Howe and Georgia. BC Housing intends to cut funding to the shelter at the end of this month, so shelter residents, community supporters, and staff kept the music, hot food, and soccer game flowing into the night to raise support to keep the shelter open.
