KM PROTEST UPDATE: Camp remains, Burnaby Mountain Caretakers 'arrestable'
Good advice

COAST SALISH TERRITORY:  Burnaby Mountain Caretakers remain camped at the site Kinder Morgan wants to drill. The campers weren't arrested this morning,  despite a court order allowing the US company's incursion for test work for a planned pipeline through the mountain.

About 100 people were on hand at the site expecting Kinder Morgan crews and the RCMP. Two RCMP did show up to say the land defenders are "arrestable." Kinder Morgan has reportedly said it will send in its work crews when it is "safe."

The main encampment is on the spot where Kinder Morgan wants to do bore tests, and another camp including an activist in a tree is at the site where KM illegally cut down 17 trees in the park.
