Rising Tide Stands with Pidgin Picket on Day 16 of Hunger Strike
Saturday, April 6. Vancouver, unceded Coast Salish Territories: Rising Tide called solidarity action with DTES anti-gentrification picket and hunger strike. On day 16 of Homeless Dave’s hunger strike against the intensifying gentrification in and the displacement of resident of the Downtown East-Side community, residents and supporters picketed outside the newly opened Pidgin Restaurant.
