A massive four thousand strong rally walked through downtown Vancouver on Sunday afternoon, calling for an end to victim-blaming.
Bridging from the movement started in Toronto, Vancouver Slut Walk saw thousands stream through Granville Street, stopping at intersections for speeches on gender, sexual violence and repression.
The march challenged particularly the culture of victimblaming and excuse that surround all forms of sexual assualt, and also stereotypes around assault in general.
