 Kat Norris was one of the keynote speakers at the Resistance without Reservation event, held as part of Indigenous Sovereignty week. The event was organized and hosted by No One Is Illegal on Thursday October 29, 2009.

Founder of the Indigenous Action Movement, survivor of the Kuper Island Residential School, and member of the American Indian Movement, Kat has been organizing against police abuses. Her biggest success is the Frank Paul Inquiry.
