on june 5th vandu, copwatch, the association of drug war survivors and local activist continued their series of protests under the name " homes not jails".
about a hundred concerned residents shut down the cambie street bridge on their march directly into the heart of downtown vancouver in occupied coast salish land.  
The group showed their dissent with government prescribed gentrification and privatization of jails in bc and ontario.
the mass incarceration programs under the names of: "omnibus crime bill", the "truth in sentencing act" and changes to the immigration act will throw  more poor minorities, drugusers, immigrants and refugees in prisons perpetuating the unethical cleansing and profiteering for ruthless investors.
