Suzanne Patles, one of many warriors attacked in a dawn raid by RCMP (physically assaulted with assault rifles) along with many youth, elders and community members for peacefully trying to protect their water by blockading fracking equipment, shares her experiences at a strategy session as part of the Mi’kmaq Warriors west coast speaking tour.
Suzanne Patles of the Mi'kmaq Warriors Society spoke at a strategy session co-sponsored by First Nations Studies SFU, and the English Department, SFU at the downtown Harbour Centre campus Friday, January 24th, on unceded Coast Salish Territories.
