Women Waters Ceremonial Walk
From the organizers:
"The purpose of this Women Waters Ceremonial Walk is to gather the people from the four sacred directions; the yellow people, the black people, the red people, and the white people, and all those in between. We will demonstrate a way of life; a way of walking lightly on Mother earth. We want to show a way of loving and honoring the female side of life as demonstrated in our teachings, ceremony, and prophecies to restore the natural balance and interconnectedness between all our relations.
Most pressing are the issues of water and land protection during these times in our human earth walk. It is our sovereign Indigenous responsibility and right to care for our mother and her life Blood. it is our indigenous knowledge that both water and land are female and from them all life flows, forms, and heals."
