At this point, you are probably assuming that I'm talking about the Tamil refugees, and even though that's not completely incorrect, the specific incident that this piece is about is the much less publicized issue of the refusal by Mr Kenney's minions to issue visas to about 100 Tibetan scholars, who has the audacity to want to participate in a conference on the Tibetan culture held

At first, it was hard to tell if there was anyone inside the drab brown brick detention center. The four security guards and a few RCMP cars were a clue, though: someone must be in there.
