Also available on Vimeo: Water Day Rally 2016: Shawnigan Lake representatives gather at MOE Mary Polak's office to remind her of the horrendous situation they have been battling since 2012.

The fight to save their drinking water supply from being contaminated by the toxic soil dump site near their water supply has been a most exhausting and expensive experience..

Al Brunet & Sonia Furstenau from the Shawnigan Residents Association explain to the public the process they have been through & thank all the people involved for their effort & assistance. To this point well over $750.000 in legal fees have been spent by citizens fighting a situation which should not have been allowed in the first place.                                                                                            This continued disrespect for our environment & the health and well being of tax paying citizens simply must not be allowed to continue. For those wishing to support this valid citizens cause, donations may be made to their legal fund by visiting /   www.thesra.ca
