Activists take to the streets during the Canada Day parade where they performed a demonstration to bring to light the prisoner exchange in Afghanistan where they were torured, as well the unjust/illegal wars in Afghanistan & Iraq.
Dressed in orange jump suits/prison uniforms - much like the ones at the Guantanamo Bay detainee camp where such high profile prisoners are, (like Omar Khadr - Canadian youth who is) still held without charge, bail or proper legal proceedings.
The activists encouraged Canadians to pressure their elected officials to challenge these illegal/unjust wars and the prisoner tranfers into torturous and inhumane conditions knowingly. That there is a special committee struck in the Canadian Parliament to investigate the transfer of detainees in Afghanistan into those who knowingly torture and Canadians need to pressure their MP's for the truth.
