"You Now Have a Duty" - Idle No More at Broadway Skytrain, Vancouver - Unceded Coast Salish Territories

Idle No More

See video

The Idle No More round dance on January 3rd 2013 started out with a rousing call for settlers to do join with indigenous people in the duty to protect the land and water we depend on.  Then hundreds of people danced, drummed and sang. Join the Round Dance Revolution against Stephen Harper and his Big Oil cronies!

"We as the First Peoples of this land are standing up. We're standing up to the newcomers, and we're saying to them, 'You now have a duty. You now have a responsibility to guard it jealously like us.' We cannot eat or drink crude oil."
