Riot my ass

It's not a "riot" just because you say it is. If you pathetic losers ever found yourselves in a real riot you'd all be dead. Quit your juvenile vandalism and work for change through positive action.

Heart attack march

Anarchists hiding behind masks are cowards. Anarchists doing damage, are stupid cowards whose actions destroy all the good that civil disobedience does simply by giving the main stream media fodder for their biased partisan comments.

Embrace civil disobedience in a peacefull manner and be proud of what you do by letting everyone know who you are and what you believe.

 Effective, intelligent

Effective, intelligent protest is not vandalism. We live in a country where we have the right to opinion and expression of opinion...but not to violence and destruction.

Protests will hardly ever be

Protests will hardly ever be effective immediately after a demonstration. Keep in mind this is how these people will be heard. The mainstream media is controlled by Olympic support. Local zines will only get to so many people, many of which are already submerged in anti-olympic/pro human rights culture. The primary goal of a passionate protest in our lifetime is to educate-get people informed or at least paying attention to the knowledge that alternate media is presenting.

Protesters should be able to do what it takes to get heard-when it has gone this far. It shouldn't be like this is a so-called "free country". We should be able to be heard more easily.

Desperate people have be known to render desperate deeds.

Fed up

They're right - we need to take our streets and province back. Back from the misinformed, lazy, drug-addled degenerates who continue to do nothing but wander the streets 'protesting'. Rather than contributing something positive to society, all they can contribute is negativity, anger and violence. Violence and anger about what? WHich of the hundreds of causes they profess to be marching for make them so angry and violent? Maybe try cutting back on the drug intake and actually spend your time doing something productive for your community. Try actually building a home for a homeless person, rather than getting angry. Offer something positive to the community instead of just negativity, violence and hatred. Maybe then the community as a whole could get behind whatever message you're trying to peddle. Instead, you're just a bunch of drug-using, welfare-addicted lazy bums. with loud mouths. If you don't like the Olympics, crawl bakc into your holes and wait until they're over.
